Hospitality in Corona Times

We did all local tours around Marburg. Now we has to expand our radius – despite Corona restrictions. The destination is Astrid’s family in Hanover. The challenge is an overnight stay while campsites are closed.

Bötzi has organized an accomodation in her brother Thomas’s hunting hut. Thomas warmly welcomed us. The oven was already bullished and it was cozy warm. We stayed well protected in the middle of the forest.

Before we reached the hut we had had diner – because of corona restrictions only ToGo and we ate on the street 🙁

Sacred drinking water

The second stage to Stelingen near Hannover, with strong north wind – at about 19:00 o’clock exhausted, but happily arrived at the finish.

Stefan, Lotte, Lotta and Frida were our hosts for the next two days. Our sleeping place was under the roof, almost like in a tent (we has dragged that on the bike without using it).

Rest day in Langenhagen in parent’s garden and later, a small family tour with a stopover in the ice salo
We took the same route back and spent again the night in the hunting hut
Back in Marburg we were also well served

It was wonderful: hospitality in Corona times.
