Extraordinary Campsites

Insiders know the legendary nature camping guide ‘Cool Camping’ for people who make holidays with their tent. This here is our supplemental edition, especially for Eastern Europe. Since these campsites are so different from those we know from Western Europe, we have this contribution for all campers and adventurers.

Wild camping, as recommended by Lennart and practiced by some cyclists on the way, is not ours. Set up the tent in the dark and leave in the early hours of the morning, not with us. A warm shower at the end of the day is our indispensable luxury. And there were other goodies.

The campsites we visited had, with a few exceptions, a place to sit, often with a covered area, electricity, a refrigerator or even a kitchen. The place today has exaggeratedly a microwave and a dishwasher (EU-funded).) On many campfires are allowed.

For all of us, we wonder when the high season will begin. 🙂

The cost ? Not worth talking about compared to Central and Western Europe.

We have worked diligently as a campsite tester and gave our reviews.
