Faleminderit Shqiperi – Kalimera Kerkyra

Thank you, Albania – Good Morning Corfu: What difficult languages ? Two weeks in Albania. And we do understand only ONE word. But, the people are so open and friendly that we have learned to speak with hands, feed and a smile. Greek seems easier for us. At least a handful of words sounds familiar to us.

With this fast ferry we went to Corfu. Our bikes had the seats with the sea view.

In Albania we met after a while bike travellers again and spent a few evenings with them on the same camp space, had beer and raki together. A swiss couple, already over the 70ties and 80 thousand kilometers on their recumbent bicycles were with us.

Blue Eyes – 6qm3 water per second
Never more than 12 degrees Celsius, too cold for Astrid
Camp after the last tourist left
Plateau near Gjirokastra
Butrint – Amphit theatre
Near the greek border

That was it for today. Now we make holidays until the 12th of June. It will last a while until you will hear from us again.

  1. Belinda and Matt are on their way to Arizona for a few days to scout the state. When they return they’ll take the boys with them to Oregon.
The electric company started to turn off their electricity in the area of Paradise and Magalia. Especially when it’s windy. They’re told it’s to prevent another fire.
They have a generator for back up now.
