Without Vignette through Switzerland

We were a little bit nervous when approaching the Swiss border crossing. But, It was unspectacular. The customs officers took no notice of us and so we cycled through Kreuzlingen and immediately everything was as one imagined Switzerland. Mountains, hills, lush meadows, cows and sheeps and pretty farms. Cowbells are ringing.

‘In the village where the cheese is still allowed to stink’ sounds the advertisement on the poster at the road.

It passes via Winterthur, direction Zurich to Aarburg, Solothurn and the german capital Bern. Here everything is in a small space. The bike path is so beautiful that we don’t notice much of the big cities and highways.

In Winterthur, the completely driven cycling shoes had to be replaced first. Luckily, replacement found in the bike adventure shop.

At some point every holiday comes to an end and therefore after four days we drive back to Switzerland, our country of travel in this special season that has been initiated late. High mountains with panoramic views and hopefully tolerable nights attract. We are looking forward to challenging pass roads and campsites with tent edging grounds, which still have room for our small tent.
