Approx. 40kg carries each of us plus ourselves. All equipment is in eight bags on Rolf’s and my bike. Clothes in the back as well as the sleeping bags and mattres, the tent. In the front a bag with technical equipment, means lap top, ebook readers, solar panel, binocular, camera etc. The other one has everything for cooking. Rolf, of course, has everything to repair and maintain the bikes. In one of the front bags we have exclusively food, lunch packs and for the first days hundreds of fitness and muesli bars from our friends. This is vital, because we are hungry the whole day. Lennart is more or less autark and the best minimalist with two bags.
